In this comic strip, I have decided to portray the teacher as an undercover superhero, who does the most good in her regular art teacher attire. It is her job as a hero, to give her students confidence, knowledge and a feeling of efficacy. The art teacher strives to give her students a voice, a place to feel safe expressing their feelings and the tools necessary to live in a visual culture.
